As part of the ongoing migration of brand websites, the BMC and SpringerOpen subscription alert systems are being integrated into Springer Nature Link.
This change ensures a more consistent and reliable alert experience across all Springer Nature journals.
What's changing?
- The BMC and SpringerOpen subscription alert systems (email alerts for new articles and journal updates) will move to Springer Nature Link
- Alerts will be managed centrally within Springer Nature Link
What's staying the same?
- Your current alert subscriptions will remain active
- You will continue to receive alerts without any interruption
- No action is required if you are happy with your existing subscriptions
Managing or updating your alerts
If you want to update, add or remove alert subscriptions, you will need to:
- Log in to Springer Nature, or
- Create an account using the same email address that currently receives your BMC/SpringerOpen subscription alerts
Using the same email address ensures your existing subscriptions are correctly linked to your account.
