To find the email communications settings, ensure you are logged into your Springer Nature Account and select “Subscriptions and purchases’ from the Account drop-down on the Nature or Springer Nature Link homepages.

Navigate to “Email communications” section within the Subscriptions and purchases overview page. Users can update their Marketing preferences and Journal alerts using the buttons below the communications section.
Unsubscribe to Journal alerts:
- Whilst logged in, select “Journal alerts”.
- Use the tick box to select the alerts you no longer wish to receive.
- Select “Unsubscribe”.
To subscribe to Journal alerts please visit the journal’s homepage and select “Sign up for alerts”.
Manage marketing communication preferences
- Whilst logged in, select “Marketing preferences”.
- Use tick boxes to select your preferences:
a. To receive updates on new journal launches and other engaging content.
b. To receive occasional updates on third-party promotions. - Use the tick boxes to select additional marketing materials such as, Newsletters and other tailored content determined by your job role and areas of interest.
- Once you've made your selections, select “Save marketing preferences” to update your account.
If you change your mind, you can select “Cancel” to discard your changes.
